Couch Potato is a kit designed to teach children about social distancing through crafting and making arT
During the unfamiliar times we are facing due to the Corona crisis, it can be even more confusing for children to understand why they can’t see their friends and grandparents or visit the playground anymore. The story of couch potatoes aims to bring clarity. It guides children to make their own paint from vegetables easily at home and craft their own potato stamps. The paint and the stamps are used to illustrate the story of the Triangle and the Circle, who can’t go outside.
The kit is entirely based on things families have at home. The instructions and the story can simply be downloaded below and printed.
Recommended age: 4-7, supervision and the help of adults might be needed.
